Retail food establishments have regular, unannounced routine inspections based on risk. Most food establishments are inspected every four to six months. Recheck inspections are conducted to ensure compliance. Staff also investigates consumer complaints. Search by name or address to find inspection reports for a specific food establishment. Inspection reports detail the violations cited at the time of inspection. State law requires that inspection reports are not posted until ten days after the inspection date.
